Ensure Health & Safety excellence in global infrastructure projects

In this role, you will be responsible for the Health & Safety agenda within customer projects, ensuring compliance with NKT standards and legal frameworks while fostering an effective safety culture. Ensure safe execution across complex international projects

As Project Health & Safety Manager, you will manage all Health & Safety activities within assigned projects. You will develop and implement project-specific Health & Safety plans, coordinate risk assessments, and ensure timely submission of deliverables. This position combines strategic oversight with involvement, requiring regular visits to installation sites, vessels, and subcontractor facilities to maintain compliance and engagement.

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Develop, review, and submit Health & Safety deliverables such as plans, audits, and reports
  • Monitor and report Health & Safety risks, KPIs, and non-conformities
  • Integrate Health & Safety measures into project planning
  • Conduct audits and lead incident investigations
  • Coordinate subcontractor Health & Safety performance

You will report to the Manager, HSE Projects & Tenders and work closely with Project Installation Managers. The role is based in the Netherlands with regular travel to project sites and subcontractor facilities.

Health & Safety professional with international project experience

You thrive in collaborative environments and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders. Your approach is supportive and solution-oriented, enabling teams to maintain high safety standards while meeting project goals.

You also have:

  • A university degree in Engineering, Health & Safety, or Security
  • Several years of HSE experience in infrastructure, offshore wind, marine, or construction projects
  • Experience conducting audits and facilitating workshops
  • Project management experience in an international context
  • Fluency in English and Dutch
  • Valid local work permit
  • Offshore certificates (GWO, BOSIET/FOET, HUET) or NEBOSH certification
