When applying we recommend you to inform your manager so that they can endorse your application and help you prepare for the selection process.
Once you have submitted your application the following steps will take place:
- CV review. The Recruiter will review your application and check if you and your experience matches most of the critical job requirements. If yes, you will be invited to the first interview phase. If not, you will receive a verbal feedback on the reasons why you did not proceed in the hiring process.
- Interview with Recruiter and Hiring Manager The first interview is often a pre-recorded video interview. If you proceed thereafter you will be invited to a deep interview with the Recruiter and the Hiring Manager. The purpose of this interview is to connect and to validate if you have right experience and competencies to be successful in the job.
- Looping in the Current Manager. If the deep interview is successful, you should at this stage speak to your Current Manager.
- Assessment (not applicable for all roles)
- If you proceed to the next step, you will be invited for an assessment. The assessments consist of a behavioral test and a follow-up interview. You might also be invited to take a cognitive test.
- Interview with the manager of the Hiring Manager and business Stakeholder (optional). The purpose of this interview is to add more perspectives to assess the match between you and the open position and for you to meet two critical stakeholders of the vacant job. Optionally, you could be invited to an informal coffee moment with 2 team members/peers as well to connect and get a view of the team.
- Feedback after an interview. The Recruiter will inform you about the outcome of their interview and next steps. If successful, you will be invited to the next step. If unsuccessful, the Hiring Manager will provide suggestions on what should be developed to increase readiness in the future. In this feedback session, you can collect more feedback from the Hiring Manager.
- Delivering feedback to candidates can sometimes take a bit longer depending on the number of candidates applying for a role, and the amount of interviews the hiring team needs to conduct. We endeavor to get back to all candidates who have interviewed for a role within at least one week of their interview. If you have not heard back within this timeframe, please reach out to your Recruiter.
- Job is offered. If you proceed to the final step, the Hiring Manager will share the job offer with you. Job Offers for employees will be in line with the NKT career framework and the start date follows the current manager and the hiring manager’s alignment on a transfer date. As a principle, this period would be normal notice period plus 1-2 months (unless legal requirements).
