What can you expect from the position? 

 

As a Support Specialist, your main responsibilities will include providing day-to-day IT consultation to end-users, assisting with how-to questions, troubleshooting, and resolving issues related to hardware, software, networks, and other computer systems. You will ensure the stability of the IT environment by proactively identifying issues and implementing solutions. You’ll be at the forefront of resolving problems, handling service requests, and supporting end-users globally, while contributing to the implementation of our IT strategy. Your main tasks will be: 

  • Handle incidents and service requests. 
  • Provide consultation and trainings for end-users on how-to questions.
  • Deploy and maintain standard hardware. 
  • Monitor requests for new IT equipment/software and coordinate regular hardware exchange.
  • Support maintaining of IT standards for hardware and software.  
  • Perform fixes, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, configuring systems and applications, etc.  
  • Work on  knowledge articles creation and updates.  
  • Seek for efficiency by raising automation ideas.  
  • Contribute to IT/business projects, if there would be a need. 

What do we expect from the candidate: 

  • 2+ years of previous experience in service desk, on-site support, systems administration or similar position.
  • Proficiency in incidents and service requests handling.
  • Experience with knowledge articles/ documentation creation.
  • Familiarity with wide scope of IT technologies and products (Cisco, Office365 products, Windows, Active directory, Networks, etc.).  
  • Robust understanding of ITIL processes (ITIL certificate is an advantage).
  • IT-security awareness.  
  • Being familiar with ServiceDesk+ (advantage).  
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills are necessary.  
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills, proficiency with remote communication. 
  • English, fluently speaking and writing.

Salary range for this position is from 2800 Eur to 3500 Eur Gross.
