This is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in our routine testing department, ensuring that cables and accessories are prepared and maintained for testing. Ensure efficient preparation and maintenance of cables

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating the work of the cable preparation team and ensuring that all cables and accessories are ready for testing. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, perform ongoing maintenance, and support other operators. Your responsibility will be to:

  • Coordinate the work for the cable preparation team
  • Work with cable preparation for routine and sample tests
  • Ensure the team maintains the structure of cables and their accessories
  • Order indirect materials required for testing
  • Perform ongoing maintenance of cables

You will report to the Supervisor Testing and work closely with the Accessories Engineer and Test Lead. This position is based in Alingsås, with full-time hours and potential shift work.

Organized and proactive team player

We are looking for a candidate with a high school degree in a technical area and 2-3 years of relevant work experience. You should have a technical background, experience in cable handling, and strong collaboration skills. You also have:

  • Experience working in teams or projects
  • Proficiency in common computer use and SAP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
