Project background
Methane, a by-product released during the crosslinking of XLPE with Dicumyl peroxide, poses risks such as increased electrical conductivity and void formation in cable materials. Understanding the formation, diffusion, and solubility of methane in XLPE at various temperatures is crucial for optimizing production parameters.

Your Mission:
•    Innovative Method Development: Create and optimize a quantification method using Head Space Gas Chromatography with Mass Spectrometry (HS-GC-MS) to measure methane in XLPE material.
•    Comprehensive Analysis: Plan and conduct detailed laboratory analyses to study methane diffusion in XLPE samples at different temperatures and concentration levels.
•    Reliability Validation: Ensure the accuracy and reliability of your results through meticulous validation.
•    Detailed Reporting: Summarize your observations and findings in comprehensive laboratory reports.

Why This Project?
•    Hands-On Experience: Gain practical experience with advanced analytical techniques and equipment.
•    Collaborative Environment: Work in a supportive and dynamic team, fostering professional growth and development.
•    Impactful Research: Contribute to innovative studies that have real-world applications in the energy sector.
