Accounting Associate

NKT, a leading cable producer with Headquarters in Denmark, is seeking for a motivated, curious and goals oriented colleague to join our company as an Accounting Associate. As an Accounting Associate, you will ensure that all transactions are processed with efficiency and quality according to predefined standards and work processes. Process invoices and support period-close procedures
You will be based in Kaunas office in an international environment following the highest ethical standards of business conduct and focusing on sustainability and greener world. The role requires attention to detail, accounting skills and ability to manage one’s own tasks and also work as part of the team. You will be processing and booking incoming invoices, handling stakeholders' and suppliers' queries, participating in period-close procedures for Accounts Payable. You can also expect to receive inquiries and deliver accurate reports for internal customers and outsourcing partners or authorities. Other tasks will be:
•    Participate in assigned projects to support business needs and priorities.
•    Work cross-functionally with teams across the organization.
•    Build positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
•    Assist other team members.
•    Execute all other position related tasks delegated by line manager.
 
What do we expect from the candidate?
We are looking for a motivated individual who works well with others and can build and maintain good working relationships with colleagues. You should have an international mindset and be fluent in English.

You also have:
•    Bachelor in Business Administration, higher commercial certificate, or similar (can be student or graduate of formal accounting courses).
•    Attention to details.
•    English language skills (working knowledge).

Salary range for this position is from 1500 Eur to 1640 Eur Brutto.
