As the Group (global) HSE Manager – Management Systems at NKT, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing our Global HSE Management system across all business lines and sites worldwide. Enhance safety and efficiency across NKT

Your responsibility will be to:

  • Own and be the super user of the NKT Group HSE Management system, including various IT systems and platforms, processes, guidelines, and procedures
  • Ensure the global HSE Management system is developed and prepared for the future, enhancing safety, efficiency, and professionalism across all business lines and sites
  • Build, develop, and maintain the Group HSE intranet
  • Lead and coordinate various safety culture improvement programs with our HSE Council team and local sites
  • Manage and set up HSE-related software, budget, cost, and frame agreement processes with vendors

This role can be located in Prague or Kaunas and requires availability for business travel around 2-5 days/month, mainly in Europe.

Experienced safety professional with technical insights

We are looking for a person who can work independently, is structured, and has a “do’er”-mindset. You should be able to effectively write simple procedures and develop our supportive processes and tools for your colleagues. As an experienced advocate of a safety culture, you should be a team worker who listens, executes, inspires others to make changes, and takes part in the energetic transformation.

You also have:

  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Successfully completed a university degree, such as Safety or Quality Engineer (BSc/MSc), Production/Mechanical Engineer (BSc/MSc)
  • Several years of experience with a strong safety background in a technical/industrial environment
  • HSSE Management systems knowledge: ISO 9001, 45001, 14001, 50001 (preferable internal auditor in min. one standard)
  • Experience building and maintaining management systems and related HSSE process frameworks
