We are now seeking a motivated and qualified Head of Security to lead and optimize our operations and protect our employees. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a development-oriented organization where you will establish and build our security structure to meet future challenges. 

Manage and coordinate security and fire safety efforts
In the role of Head of Security, you will manage and coordinate all elements of security and fire safety for NKT’s operations in Sweden and Denmark. You are responsible for developing and implementing robust security policies and ensuring that all measures comply with legal and statutory requirements. In this position, collaborating with internal departments and the Group Security function is essential to create a consistent strategy focused on safety and risk management.

Key responsibilities:

• Risk Assessment and Management
• Provide training and development programs
• Oversee the installation, maintenance and monitoring of security systems 
• Ensure that external vendors and contractors meet the organization´s standards for safety
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and stay updated on the latest security technologies
• Lead incident investigations
• Emergency Response Planning

 
As the Head of Security, you will report to the Director of Group Workplace Management.

This position is based in Karlskrona, with occasional travel required.

 
Experienced leader with a result-oriented mindset
We are looking for an experienced leader with good judgment, high integrity and decisiveness. You exhibit resourcefulness, maintain a clear structure and prioritize results. You effectively create and maintain good relationships, putting the team before yourself and being unpretentious and collaborative.

Your CV includes:

• 10 + years of work experience in similar security issues
• Good knowledge of Swedish laws in the security field
• Experience in leading, developing and motivating others
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Drivers license B

 
Higher education and knowledge of the Swedish electricity and energy system is meritorious.
