What can you expect from the position?

As a Financial Analyst, you will contribute to developing and utilizing data analytics tools to enhance our financial reporting and business intelligence. You will support the budget and forecast processes, report key metrics, and effectively solve issues. Your responsibility will be to:

  • Facilitate building and usage of data analytics tools in e.g. Power BI, Qlik, BW, as well as manage data management to enhance financial reporting and business intelligence.
  • Oversee or support budget / forecast process: template preparation, analysis and reporting.
  • Reporting of key metrics, costs, or investments to ensure that the business stays in control with expectations.   
  • Timely solve or escalate issues.
  • Be the first PoC for Finance teams and business stakeholders in terms of reporting, analysis and provide the right guidance.
  • Build and maintain close relationship with internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Support decision making by providing analysis to the management and other stakeholders.
  •  Define and implement the financial performance management agenda, increase standardization of finance procedures. Follow-up expenses when needed.
  • Provide support and guidance to reporting analysts, junior or other team colleagues.
  • Identify opportunities, pursue process improvement and standardization initiatives to deliver better control, efficiency, quality and accurate reporting & analysis, contribute to process changes.

Execute other position related tasks delegated by line manager/ dotted line managerYou will be part of a collaborative team, reporting to the Finance Manager. This position is based in Kaunas.

What do we expect from the candidate:

We are seeking a candidate with an effective business mindset and proficient analytical skills. You should be motivated, willing to contribute, and capable of working independently. You also have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Finance, Controlling, and FP&A.
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools and financial systems (e.g., SAP, Qlik, Power BI, advanced Excel).
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to support stakeholders with financial insights.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications.
  • Experience in industrial controlling is beneficial.
  • Business mindset, being able to understand the drivers within the business, open to questioning assumptions, skilled in identifying cost saving/profitability improvement opportunities.
  • Experienced in working with minimal supervision, owning processes, ability to effectively understand and set requirements.
  • Motivated, having a keen eagerness to grow, develop and be challenged, supporting improvements in processes.
  • Effective communication skills, ability to act as sounding board for stakeholders, ability to handle various groups of stakeholders, supporting their decisions with financial insights.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Salary range for this position is from 3300 Eur to 4600 Eur brutto.
